Stockton is third all-time in assists and fifth all-time in steals. Couldn’t get past Jordan in the Finals, but a lot of legends had that problem. :)
I’m pretty sure legendary UCLA coach John Wooden once said the only player he would pay money to watch in the NBA was John Stockton.
Correction: Stockton is first all time in assists, and no one else is even close.
