He’s got the whole world in His hands

I was not aware that this body of work existed.

I do find it interesting that many of the artists made the world/the sphere totally transparent.

Is that because He can see right through us?
Right through our hearts and our minds?

Or is it because outside of Him we are nothing?

Or because we are at His mercy? We can be hurled to the ground, shattered and swept into the dustpan like broken glass. Or we can be upheld and loved by Him.

Or is it simply a proportion thing? God is so very huge and the earth is so miniscule that we do not even show up as a speck in the painting.
