You seem to have hit on the basic truth. If you look at the socio- political mega trends these days all of them are rooted in embracing the rejection or outright attacking of the Divine Creator in one way or another.

Some of these rejections like the celebration of SatanCon in Boston or Sam Smith at the Grammys are obvious and over the top. Some , like the fanaticism on abortion and the removal of Judaeo Christian civilization as the basis of our culture are aggressive but the motives are disguised by clever manipulation and some are so subtle you really have think hard to realize the implications

But without fail, we are seeing a full spectrum assault on virtually every Biblical principle or tenet, often in a way that fundamentally rejects or denies God.
