Have not seen it, but cheated and read the capsule summary.

It is true that the Lipizzaners are black or bay (a warm brown) when foaled, but are mostly gray by 6-10 years old (they live a long time and remain in work often well into their 20s). Occasionally you have one who doesn't "turn" but remains bay or black. By tradition there is always one bay stallion at the Spanische Hofreitschule in Wien.
