Silicon Valley, laying off tens of thousands of “white collar” workers should be a warning sign. Automation began replacing manual, blue collar labor in the 1960’s, and now AI is beginning to replace cerebral, white collar labor in the 2020’s. I wonder what comes next? ....and even if we will be able to recognize it when it does come.
