“People will spend a surprisingly large part of their day on food — working to pay for it, going out to shop for it, then purchasing it, preparing it for consumption, eating it, and finally cleaning up the mess.”
This is what more people should be doing. It’s hard to estimate how much money I have not had to spend on fast food, carry-out and restaurant meals by knowing how to shop, manage a pantry, fresh foods and how to cook & clean. You can have your Door-Dash and feel like a king, but paying for the privilege is “not a good look” unless you’re truly financially independent.
