Matthew 13 lays it out too (tares and the wheat). Jesus said it however, if you bring that up to a Lindsayest or a pre-tribor (at el) their rebuttal is that you’re anti-pauline.

BTW, the Euphrates has not dried up all the way however it is predicted that by 2040 it will. That if that is if the current rainfall models continue.

Verses need to be taken in contect. 2 Thess 2:3 needs the context of the opening verse regarding gathering unto Him and the pronouns used in verse 6-8.

Just one of many things about the Pre Trib rapture that doesn’t add up. After all this is about the 2nd coming we’re told NOT the rapture since per Pre Trib theology Matt 24 is concerning the Jews and Israel. Therefore in Pre Trib you must believe that everything is normal just before the 2nd coming as the trumpet judgments are being poured out on the earth. Things won’t be normal during this time.

Mattem 24 is spoken to the Jewish men who asked the questions. You are conflating the sudden disappearance gathering of the Body of Christ with the physical return to the eartyh to rescue the remnant Jews and crush antiChrist

I went to your ECF links, good info. The ECF believed that the then-existing Imperial Roman Empire would be taken out of the way, then would arise a ten nation consortium (ten horns).

These things would have to occur before a “little horn” would arise among the ten, who would be the man of sin, the antichrist.

This deserves repeating: the imperial Roman Empire that existed in their times, would have to be “taken out of the way,” before “that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and destroy with the brightness of his coming.”

The historic evidence, is Imperial Rome was what hindered the appearance of antichrist. It was Imperial Rome that had to be “taken out of the way,” not the church in an alleged pretrib rapture! There is no evidence in the writings of these men that they believed the hindrance was a pretrib rapture.

These things, including the antichrist, are “first,” then Jesus Christ (his singular undivided 2nd coming destroys the antichrist).

” I had rather go to a really high end , nice place once a quarter and have a fantastic experience than eat at McD’s 5 days a week and be broke. “

Some weeks I go to McDonald’s all 7 days for breakfast but am not broke.

This is literally the clearest video on the restrainer of the antichrist that I have ever seen. It is part 2 of “Christ and Antichrist.” The restrainer of the antichrist was the Roman empire. Only a delusional PTRist would ever deny it.

No, not at all. Note the following from PAUL, when he talks about obeying civil powers:

Romans 13:1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. 2Consequently, whoever resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. 3For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Then do what is right, and you will have his approval. 4For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not carry the sword in vain. He is God’s servant, an agent of retribution to the wrongdoer. (etc...)

God used the Roman empire to RESTRAIN the antichrist.

So, the fairy tale of the restrainer being the Holy Spirit and the PTR being true? NOPE!

Oh I fully understand Pre Trib theology, though I’m sure I don’t understand your response. Per Pre Trib Matt 24 is about the Jews and Israel NOT the church. Which means the Noah example given is about the 2nd coming at the end of the 7 year period. BUT this doesn’t make any sense because everyday normal activities won’t be going on just prior to the 2nd coming. They can’t be because people will just be trying to survive due to trumpet and bowl judgments. Hence this doesn’t work in the Pre Trib model.

Your part right on Matthew 24. Matthew 24 is not about the Pre-tribulation rapture. That would be found in Revelation 14 where the evil ones are actually the ones left behind. History is prophecy. (Ecc. 1:9) The evil ones taken in Noah’s day missed the boat even through it didn’t’ rain for a week after Noah went into the ark.

The second the angels sealed the door of the ark, probation ended for everyone outside. They were all lost at that moment, and they didn’t even realize it. The same is going to happen after the last test, meaning the Mark of the Beast..Revelation 14, by the way. Then the tribulation will intensify, and then the plagues come. And, just like Noah in the ark, God will protect those left, who are saved, who didn’t take the Mark of the Beast. No one leaves this earth until the one and only second coming of Christ.

No PTR
No OSAS/OJAJ

Everyone alive at the end of the world either takes the Mark, or they don’t. Then the door of probation slams shut, forever.

I went to your link. It had good stuff on the ECF and the restrainer. The ECF are also very good on the rapture and the 2nd coming issue, which they uniformly saw as one event...not the two separate events of the pretribs.

——>The ECF are also very good on the rapture and the 2nd coming issue, which they uniformly saw as one event...not the two separate events of the pretribs.

Yet the “experts”, like Ken Johnson and Andy Woods, will try to convince you otherwise, by omitting key ECF statements, purposely misquoting, or outright fabrication. There is no nice way to say it other than to say they are lying.

The truth is that EVERYONE living at the end of this world will be going through the tribulation, MOTB, and plagues. Most of those who are all in on the PTR will be lost, because they believed in lies, and followed the advice of their false teachers. When they finally realize it, it will be too late. The door of probation will have been slammed shut in their faces. The bible gives us ample warning to not be deceived. The PTR false doctrine is DIRECTLY linked to the Antichrist power. No doubt about it. It’s proven historical fact that I’ve shown many times. Anyone can look it up for themselves. They refuse to even acknowledge it. And that certainly goes double for their “experts”. Their itching ears will not listen to sound, salvation-saving doctrine. “As in the days of Noah”, there were no second chances for those lost. The same applies to the end of this world. The door of Noah’s ark/the MOTB. They won’t listen. I have no doubt that those outside the ark mocked and cursed Noah and his family, right up until the water showed up. They were warned for 120 years. Their “experts” were wrong. They were all lost.

Matthew 24: 36No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. 39And they were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man.

PTR, OSAS/OJAJ doctrines are complete lies. Additionally, “they” don’t have a true concept of the Antichrist, Restrainer, or MOTB. Because of their trusting in false teachers and ignorance, they will be forever lost.

(A perfect example of false trust and ignorance is in post 29, which I conclusively prove to be wrong, in post 31. “They” all say the Restrainer of the Antichrist is the Holy Spirit. Nope. Saying otherwise wouldn’t fit the false doctrine PTR narrative. “They” ignore the ECF and Romans 13)

It’s also ironic that they totally ignore the ECF on the Restrainer issue, yet claim that the ECF support the PTR. Unbelievable.
