TO BE ALMOST SAVED IS TO BE TOTALLY LOST!
Just when we think we’ve hit rock bottom, a new headline appears that is even more egregious.

So true.
Joining all….
Amen!
Adding my prayers. God bless.
A wonderful truth! I think the following fits this nicely, something on my heart lately.
Matthew 8:23 tells a brief story that reflects the above. It tells of Jesus and his disciples crossing the Sea of Galilee; a 'great tempest' arose 'insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves.' The disciples panicked and awoke Jesus from a sleep crying, 'Save us; we perish!'
Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a 'great calm.' He admonishes his disciples, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?
Why did our Lord describe them of little faith? Did they really think that Jesus miraculous ministry would be cut off by Him drowning? And why were they so amazed that he had power over the winds and the waters of the sea?
The answer, too often overlooked, is found in the following story: the ship lands on the coasts of Gadar and Jesus is immediately confronted by a powerful demon: Legion. Legion expected Jesus and rushed to meet Him, to plead not to be cast into 'torment' before their time.
Jesus knew from the storm that he was about to face a challenging spiritual confrontation; Legion also knew of Jesus coming and generated the great tempest in hopes of avoiding the threat of eternal torment. Jesus began to master the spiritual battle by calming the wind {spirit} and the sea {many demons.} Legion knew when Jesus landed that 'he' had lost the battle.
When we are facing a spiritual battle we should NOT accept defeat! We have a powerful advocate ready and able to 'calm the winds and the sea', to guide us over to a safe shore where the battle was already enjoined and won! To be "almost saved" is to have already surrendered.
We must not be "of little faith" in times of trial. We must call upon our faithful advocate to lead the battle, guide us through to a safe and calm shore.
This message has been on my heart lately, which means that the message is especially for me! 😌
Amen !!! <><
Psalm 113
1 Praise the Lord!
Praise, O servants of the Lord;
praise the name of the Lord.
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord
from this time on and for evermore.
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting
the name of the Lord is to be praised.
4 The Lord is high above all nations,
and his glory above the heavens.
5 Who is like the Lord our God,
who is seated on high,
6 who looks far down
on the heavens and the earth?
7 He raises the poor from the dust,
and lifts the needy from the ash heap,
8 to make them sit with princes,
with the princes of his people.
9 He gives the barren woman a home,
making her the joyous mother of children.
Praise the Lord!
