What did they do? Measure every rock in New England?....................

They must have. There's even an exact number floating around as well.

If anyone should think *I* go overboard with numbers...!

But it did remind me of the place in the Torah (Gen 45) when all the brothers are finally reunited after the 22-year separation.

Joseph informed them that while there had been 2 years of famine, there were yet 5 years to go. So everyone came down to settle in Goshen...

Yet where was the end noted? It doesn't seem to be in there.

You'd think..?

Well maybe I missed it. Or it was a long 5 years of famine...

Some years back I thought hmmm, 22 years and that's all the letters that we know about anyway. Yet there are actually five more, the final forms for the kaf, mem, nun, pei, and tzaddi.

And they have numeric values: 500, 600, 700, 800, and 900.

which add up to 3500.

Hence the memory trigger.
