"...Guessing that grills ... were in short supply that day."

.

Correct. The Weber charcoal kettle grill had not yet been invented when Jesus did his fish thing.

And NO, I am not a rep of... (lol)

“To discover the Holy Spirit’s will, go back and actually do the last thing He told you to do.”

Good advice Dan!

Good evening Dan

I love that the artists used a wide range of perspectives to express this event.
And it was a crowd pleaser...Just the men numbered 5000. No telling the count if women and children were included.

Were the fish smoked? Dried? Or pickled?

Roasted? Broiled? Grilled? RAW?

Excellent! Would have included it had I known.

This is not the first such contribution you’ve made, xp. Keep up the good work!

In this instance it helped that I visited Israel. Certain sights stick in one’s mind and this was one.

I haven’t had that joy. Once the devastation from the Great Tribulation is repaired early during the Millennium, I hope to get there.

The kid had a tuna hoagie, which became 5,000 tuna hoagies.

(No rudeness or disrespect intended.   Just meant as a smile-bump of your fine and interesting Biblical artwork.)      :-)

We get smile-bumps here often. As long as they don't distract or detract, I play along.

Most posters understand that and remain self-controlled, which after all is a fruit of the Spirit. I've admonished a few, but so far, in over 750 threads, I've not had to have a comment deleted.

Having said that, isn't tuna a salt-water fish?

"Having said that, isn't tuna a salt-water fish?"

Isn't the Mediterranean Sea loaded with salt water?

(It might take a fisherman to catch some tuna there, but I understand that there were a few fishermen lurking about back in those days.)

(Not really a serious argument!)      :-)

Maybe so. Still, it what Jesus did with “two small fish”.
