Ricky was married to Mark Harmon's sister - Mark, the son of the great "Old 98" - Tom Harmon. Mark himself was a good football player at (sorry Dan!) UCLA.
Lotsa pedigree there! Loved Ricky in "Rio Bravo" with Dean Martin & the Duke.

That segment with Dean, Ricky and Walter singing, and John grinning, was called by one movie critic the best ever in cinema.
