It's a shame that you have to be deceptive (not a good Christian attribute) by not posting BOTH texts. They are both talking about GRACE, and what it covers...Past sins/old sins...AS OPPOSED TO NEW/FUTURE SINS. These are clear statements by Paul and Peter. Could not be more clear.

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of SINS THAT ARE PAST, through the forbearance of God. Romans 3:24-25

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his OLD SINS. 2 Peter 1:9

The SDA Jesus you halfway believe in apparently didn’t die for all of your sins. ‘Tis a pity. I guess you are just out of luck and damned for eternity. You’ve already admitted that you’re still a sinner. Take flame-retardant gear on your way out is all I know to tell ya. And ice water.

I praise God the Father through Christ Jesus, My Lord and My Savior, that He died on the cross for ALL of my sin. Past, present and future. I love Him for it.
