Post 392, Claire?
Key word: “remaineth.”
Again, who was Paul addressing, Claire?

Christians, Claire.

What about it, Phil?
Think, Phil. The title of the book is “The Book of Hebrews.”
We gentiles, before Christ Jesus and unless we were proselytes of Judaism, had no covenant with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We did not sacrifice animals to God to cover our sins. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure that was Israel.
I answered your question. The “we” in the statement are Christians, Claire. You weren’t paying attention.
Now answer mine.
Who was Paul addressing?
“Again, who was Paul addressing, Claire?”
It’s an assumption that the Apostle Paul was the author of Hebrews. I happen to agree, but I wouldn’t claim it as fact.
I’m going to go out on a limb here, Phil, and say that, assuming Paul wrote Hebrews, he was addressing ...
Hebrews.
Well, whoever the author of Hebrews is, who were they addressing in Hebrews 10:26-31?
No. You’re not going to change the subject. You never answered the questions I asked you. Not playing your game today.
How many times do I have to tell you that the “we” in the statements refers to Christians, Claire?
Are you daft? Are you smoking Meth?
I made that perfectly clear in post 392.
Maybe if I put it all in caps you’ll understand better?
THE WE IN THE STATEMENT REFERS TO CHRISTIANS.
THE WE IN THE STATEMENT REFERS TO CHRISTIANS.
THE WE IN THE STATEMENT REFERS TO CHRISTIANS.
That’s all well and good, but you didn’t answer my questions.
They are copied from my post 390 and are as follows:
“Who are the “we” in the statement, Phil? (Check book title.) What is the “wilful” sin? What is the knowledge of the truth they received? Who, theretofore, had animal sacrifice for sins?”
——I’m going to go out on a limb here, Phil, and say that, assuming Paul wrote Hebrews, he was addressing ...
——>Hebrews.
Christians (one in Christ), saved by grace. Notice the phrase...And hath done DESPITE unto the Spirit of grace.
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Adderall, Phil?
LOL. I’m still waiting for you to discuss and answer my questions about Angels as saints. How about that, Claire?
You can’t or won’t answer my questions.
Best you get about keeping the Sabbath holy, as you wrecked it thus far.
Goodbye.
I’m sure you have a good supply at your house.
——>You can’t or won’t answer my questions.
Exactly what I told you.
Fortunately for Christians, we are grafted into the vine and are considered Abraham’s seed, as much as any Jew of the flesh.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s what the bible clearly states. We just covered that in this thread. (You know, the remnant, Abraham’s seed, etc...)
Don’t remember that far back, Claire???
Why do you keep refusing to answer any questions about Angels being called saints, and coming back with Christ at the second coming?
ha ha, I know.
