Isn't that wonderful? What must have happened within him to kindle his eagerness?!
It’s obvious that Nicodemus was intelligent, wise, had a deep hunger for truth and the courage to seek for himself the One person who could bring him to a greater understanding of who Jesus truly was. He was the only one among the priests who defended Jesus and after the crucifixion he helped Joseph of Arimathea to care for the body and the burial. In his heart Nicodemus was born again.
