By your reply of Why? –
is it safe to assume that you do not believe that God, very early on, in the 3rd chapter of Genesis- is not talking about Mary and Jesus- when God tells the Serpent he will do something for the Woman and the Seed against the evil of the serpent?
So you know, as a Catholic we believe God is speaking of Mary- as the Woman – in a very special way in Gen 3… that’s what I was trying to explain to you.
Though, I’m not sure if you are disagreeing with me or not-
But if so, can you offer your view-
If God is not speaking of Mary, as the Woman in Genesis –
and Christ, her Seed…
Then whom do you feel God is referring to?
“Then whom do you feel God is referring to?”
Genesis 3:15
I will put enmities between thee and the woman, and thy seed and her seed: she shall crush thy head, and thou shalt lie in wait for her heel.
“thee and the woman”
Satan and Eve, read Genesis chapter 3 the characters are all present, the tempter (Satan), the sinner (Eve), and the transgressor (Adam).
“thy seed and her seed”
Antichrist and Lord Jesus Christ
“And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.”
Eve, the first sinner will crush Satan’s head through our Lord Jesus Christ by child bearing, 1 Timothy 2:15 and Satan will hurt our Lord Jesus through crucifixion, but only for three days.
Oh, and the pope will be the false prophet and the roman church is the mystery Babylon whore of Revelation.
