Jephthah and his daughter

You had once mentioned that there was one story that you would not feature. I figured it was that one. (There is also the story of the unfortunate concubine at the end of the Book of Judges, and of the fat king who gets murdered while he's on the toilet, but not too many artists would venture to illustrate those stories either)

You have a good memory, Mary-Lou.

While I recognize the importance of the lessons Jephthah's dastardly foolishness teaches, and why God included it in the Bible*, as the father of two daughters I excuse myself from involvement with it.

Ultimately, my commission is to encourage viewers to interact with God's Word, as the masthead proclaims, and there are plenty of stories available without the three you mentioned.

* Although why Jephthah got included in Hebrews 11's Hall of Faith completely stumps me.
