All very beautiful, to look at over and over. Of interest is the Caravaggio at #66, an early work by the master and a rare one with some landscape. Joseph holds the score for the ethereal angel playing music based on the Song of Songs, as was identified by scholars. Joseph stares intently at the angel and even the donkey seems mesmerized. Mary and baby Jesus sleep lulled by the gentle playing by the angel. Very beautiful Caravaggio.
