Many worthy paintings. Of note is #18 by Georges de La Tour, the 17th c. French painter. In his artistic maturity he created scenes illuminated just by the light of a candle, conveying a simplicity that expresses wonder and a contemplative quiet. His paintings look almost modern.
#25 by Philippe de Champaigne is also great. Joseph is sleeping on a deeply padded bed, the simplicity of his yellow cloak and of his sandals signify his humility.

La Tour and Stom both liked candle-power.
