Sure, most women want a monogamous Alpha male.
But many will share an Alpha rather than settle for a monogamous Beta.
Alpha males often have several women on call (and the women know it), whereas single and available Beta males often spend Saturday nights alone.
When I was much younger, and working in the film industry here in L.A., I knew such Alphas. Men with several girlfriends, competing for his time.
If your point of reference is LA, then you are really out of touch with mainstream America and normal women.
