I should say I assume Nathen was more steadfast than Solomon who at the end turned to other gods and had lineage (Jechoniah/Jechonias) that God rejected.
Solomon is one who should give us pause. We scramble for that which Solomon had more than any man has ever had - riches, power, and wisdom (and tons of women). But with all of that, Solomon wished to die ("I hated life" Eccl. 2:17).
We're so lucky to have Jesus. To keep our eyes and hearts on Him is the key to a happy and successful life.
The ultimate cautionary tale. What a spectacle! Woe to anyone who refuses to admit how much Solomon resides within them. I'll say "Pause". Full dead stop!
