Thanks as always for the thought provoking works of art. It is always an aid to meditation on God’s Word.

Interestingly, an abbreviated this selection from Ezekiel 1 is one of the readings that will be read around the world today at the daily Catholic mass. There is a post about elsewhere on FR.

A few years ago, my Bible's cover finally gave up the ghost, so I took it to a local bookbinder for a new leather cover ($55 with inscription). After prayerfully considering what gold-leaf inscription to specify--after all, "Bible" just means "book", and I wanted a meaningful title--I settled on what I take to be the Bible's overarching theme:
