Intriguing William Blake. Truly a supernatural vision. Thank you always for your ministry, Dan.
As always, Alba, I am so glad when people are blessed by it.
DOMENICO GHIRLANDAIO - Ezekiel looks bored!
This is a very curious vision Ezekiel has with the wheels and the wheels within the wheels. Since the industrial revolution, that would seem to indicate power, speed, and acceleration - almost certainly a depiction of a facet of the power of the Holy Spirit.
The most stunning and realistic picture of Jesus I've ever seen was that depicted in the book, "Heaven is For Real".
And yes, here, Jesus has a short beard. But that face. Those eyes. Whew. The boy said, that was what Jesus looked like in Heaven.
I suggest he is in a trance, envisioning....
My daughter and I were just discussing this yesterday and how there are some modern artists that use this verse to create satanic looking images and claim that’s what the Bible says.
I’m glad you shared one with more divine interpretations of the vision.
Good Morning, Dan. :-)
Much has been said about Ezekiel’s vision which reminds me I need my
Eyes checked!
Thanks
I mention this because He kept us from seeing His face. His head was bowed and the focus was on His hand. Couldn't see His beard.
Good Morning, Mary-Lou. :-)
That is a line I certainly don’t wish to cross!
Just like the couple on their way to Emmaus. Jesus didn’t have them focus on his outward resurrected visage (Luke 24:16), but on scripture which reveals who Jesus really is (vs. 27).
Later, their astonishment wasn’t about Jesus’ appearance and sudden disappearance, but how their hearts were gripped as Jesus opened up the scriptures that revealed who He is (vs. 32).
Excellent analogy, Jim! You have caught the meaning beautifully—and Emmaus is my favorite story!
I’ll share your reference with my wife. I’m sure she, too, will appreciate it—and you.

Happy Sunday Dan, and joyous Sunday to each of you.
What a great ‘art retreat’ you’ve made Dan; thank you.
The camaraderie here is warm and welcoming; we all love the art, the Word and the comments build up the body of Christ.
Yes Lord, help us to listen...
I treasure the camaraderie here, the general lack of contentiousness, the focus on the Lord and His Word.
Thanks, Leon. You are a significant contributor to it.
