I disagree. One of the purposes of humor, especially satire, is to illuminate the truth in ways other than lecturing people (which they will tune out). It can be a great weapon for truth..

You’re actually making my point from the last thread. But with that said, I’d add an 11th to this list...

11. I am a sinner and I put gods before God. I am lazy and focus on my creature comforts before I focus on reading my bible daily.

Actually I’m not. Using humor to poke fun at something to make a serious point is entirely different than dumbing down the Gospel to make it appeal to peoples laziness by passively being entertained.
