Elijah’s miracles and those of Elisha occurred in a unique time of Israel’s history and nothing like it would be seen again until Jesus. I love Elisha, his ministry is humble, gentle, serving the people among the people with compassion, and other times, dramatically winning dangerous wars. A worthy and honored heir of his mentor Elijah.
