I think it’s more a proper perspective in that a creature loves the Creator.

I like character studies in the Bible. Men like Us with
All their faults Dealing
With the Creator.

Organized religion is filled with mens Traditions not Gods.
Faith is very important to God. He loves the people of this world but for those who reject and refute Him then their free will and it’s consequences He allows that for them but like the prodigal son they can still turn around and seek Him while they can.
