To your list, norsky, I add our youth:
Father in Heaven,, You are magnificent in every way. Our awe of You knows no bounds; we cannot even express it. When we think of the cosmos You alone have created, right down to each miraculous grain of pollen — without which no vegetation would bless us, as it all surely does — we try, and fail, to fully comprehend. All of Your creation sings vociferously of Your magnitude! You are One, one of a kind; there is no other.
We yield our lives to You, for surely such is owed; and how amazing that You would condescend toward us and actually desire fellowship with the likes of us. Thank You so much.
Thank You for letting us exist; but thanks most especially for affording us Eternal Life via Christ’s death and resurrection! Thank You for the New Birth and the New Creation You have in store!
But Lord, we tremble for our young people of today. We need Your omnipotent help in extracting them from the clutches of this present age. They are surrounded by lies everywhere. They are inundated with the things that are of this world (and so many of them, false) — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, the pride of life. They are caught up in the devil’s rebellion against You, whether they know it or not.
Much of it is our own fault, for not nipping it in the bud. Please forgive us for overlooking what has been happening these past 30 years in our family life overall, in our churches and youth programs, in our schools.
It’s a tall order, but You O Lord are taller. So we implore You to supernaturally intervene at this juncture in history and rescue an abundant harvest, a blessed remnant, from among the youth of today, while there is still time.
In the Name of Jesus, amen.
AMEN!
Glory to God. Amen.
