My family was also “touched “ by the Catholic church. 2 of my boys placed lovingly in to their care. No one was ever arrested or punished in any way. Just put into another parish. The disdain I have for Catholic clergy is the same today as it was 30 years ago. They are not the bride of Christ. They are a stain on His heel.

Matthew 7: 3-4: “Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?”
