Skip to minute 49:40 for a very interesting part concerning the ‘men’ have not tasted death since their birth’.

I did, as well as that 38 min. mark. I had watched the entire video- and as others from KJ he digs deep – and is a straight shooter.
He tells the listener right up front he’s only sharing what he has learned and how he as connected it for himself. He says he is not laying it down as Gospel-
but only laying out evidence to be looked at.
He wisely puts it that you can’t change someone’s mind by yelling at them-
and that even he is open to listening to other evidence in this regard.

I’m not too interested in the Rapere discussion though- except what Ken finds in the DSS. I’m more curious in any of possible John’s / Revelation as connected to Qumran.
Was the Apostle John connected to the Essene community?
I think there’s evidence to ponder that - John may even be the unnamed follower in only linen (Essene Garb) running off naked in Gethsemane, and other points of interest.
The Qumran calendar keeping of the ages, and even their dead on 32AD call is amazing stuff - but I don’t see where Ken has enough support there for to validate Darby in the DSS. And when he goes to Roman Eusebius – I think that’s a bit stretch- and also appealing to the ECFs to connect dots- I can see where that would open up other cans of doctrinal worms.
It interesting stuff no doubt- and worthy of Ken’s work to be sure - as continued investigation can only fill in the missing blanks.
As for a common standard in seeing Ken’s approach for all sides on this, for me, is not there yet.
Also, when we- anyone- looking back into time like this,
often unavoidably are anachronistic, and can’t help but redefine the ancient author’s intent- of so long ago.
We know "too much" that taints a pure perspective. KJ, I feel though is one of the more honest voices in trying to avoid that confirmation bias of reading back into history.

For me, in the Catholic Church who believes in what the Church teaches- and what it doesn’t teach- The rapture doesn’t hold the significance.
I know you will say the Church though, is a false Church, apostate, evil, heretical and all that….but the Church, good or bad, has never taught PTR- so how could it be of interest? Its kind of an unknown.
(Though keep in mind, if it is the TRUE Apostolic Church - and it IS an "Either/Or" True/False proposition, no-in-between - believing as we can believe that Christ told us “He who hears YOU (Apostles), Hears ME”-
IF true, then the Church IS the greatest thing we have ever been given us- after Christ himself.)…

So PTR or any R can be interesting… but is it an absolute necessary?
Afterall, doesn’t PTR effect only a single generation of people, a single point in time?
Why would the Bible of the ages have a book- just so specific to a single generation? Was it relevant to the billions of souls who have died before us?

That I can’t wrap my head around- especially or want to try to know - given this understanding....

+++“But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father"+++

Also, Is this something that is suppose to happen now- or in the next 30-50 years?
