The Jews deduced from Scripture to not eat meat with dairy.
I wonder who is correct. The Jews or Miss Ellen?

The same Jews that placed untold restrictions on the 7th-day-Sabbath with their traditions? Those Jews?
Exodus 23:9The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
Deuteronomy 14:21 Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother’s milk.
Exodus and Deuteronomy forbid (command that we don’t) boil/cook a kid in his mother’s milk. There is no prohibition to eating meat with dairy (yummy piece of cheese, glass of ice cold milk, etc…).
You sound like a Pharisee.
“The Jews deduced from Scripture to not eat meat with dairy.”
Actually, that is not true. Read more of that history to find out why. It’s a gross story. The Jewish leaders often made up “God told us to stop doing that” kind of stories to get the people to stop terrible practices.
It is why Jews cannot have mashed potatoes and gravy with their meals and consider the rest of the world unclean because they do.
