As God’s people, we are SANCTIFIED. We are set apart for Holy use. We are to treat our bodies as the Temple of God. Leviticus 11 makes that point ABSOLUTELY clear. Peter reminds us is 1 Peter 1:
14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Peter is quoting from Leviticus 11. Even you should be able to understand that.
Eating unclean meat is an ABOMINATION unto the Lord. It makes you DEFILED (as does homosexuality, etc...)
Rev 21:
8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
