Well, Paul did say that the Jews, or many, were cut off from the Abrahamic promise because of their disbelief. But also a hope that their full reinclusion will be a source of joy.
Having said that, I don’t personally think that the political nation-state of Israel is going to be part of it. Seems too obvious, and God usually works in ways that are unexpecred.
After all, Biblical Israel today is the Christian Church, not a bloodline any more.
(But because the Sinai covenent Law has been fulfilled, its purpose is to point to Christ, not a lifestyle. We are in the Abrahamic and Christian covenant after all.)
Do you believe the seventy weeks of years prophecy of Daniel? Do you believe the seventieth week has already happened, or do you expect God will finish His work with Israel, putting an end to sin in Israel with the seventieth week fulfillment?
——>Dead soul, just because you keep pinging me as if we are having a debate, does not mean I read your deceits or am in any way obligated to read or respond.
You are correct (about reading or responding).
——>You are playing a gotcha game demonic in origin.
Or, that’s how Satan wants you to see it, because his number 1 job is to deceive you (and it’s working).
I quoted from the bible and compared verse with verse. Pray that you are not Dead Man Blabbing.
No Holy Spirit as Restrainer/no more literal Israel = no PTR. DONE.
I think MHG is about ready to call you a cult member for saying (basically) THE EXACT SAME THING I just said about Israel. LOL.
Did you catch that Claire?
“After all, Biblical Israel today is the Christian Church, not a bloodline any more.”
Literal Israel as God’s chosen nation is DONE.
Thanks for the YouTube, Philsworld, I will watch it later..
And also try to reply to you as well later SouthernClaire.
Before I get going, one thing about the rapture.
There is one event in the bible that details a time when Christ and His disciples are on a mount, away from the world and Moses and EliYah are there..
And what’s interesting about this is only a remnant went up to experience it.
And Luke’s version had a 2 day delay than Mathew and Mark.
Each version had the same 9 on the ground, still His Chosen Disciples, but not with Him on the Mount.
The 9 were on the ground fighting and losing to demons.
Having Moses and EliYah on the mount can add to the timing of the event.
Like when Moses comes down the mount and his faced shined.
That was about 144 days after Passover..
Having a 2 day delay in Luke can add to the timing as well.
If 2 days is as 1,000 years.
It means a future Mount of Transfiguration is due.
Not universally where all His disciples go up.
A remnant..
*Shrug*
Got me on the specifics. I believe that what God says is true, but I know from prior prophetic fulfillment that it almost always happens in ways that we don’t expect and only fully make sense after it’s already happened. In a mirror darkly, as Paul put it.
For now, I will simply keep it in mind and spread the Gospel.
Sorry. Made up for lost sleep with a good nap, Luircin.
I’m sorry you believe that God will fail to bring about His promises to Israel. That’s not the God I know and love. I believe Israel will have their Kingdom on Earth with Christ Jesus, son of David, on the throne, after the Church is removed. There’s just no argument in my mind about it. There’s no doubt. It seems plain as day to me from scripture and I don’t understand how anyone could fall for replacement theology.
I appreciate the politeness, but I think that you misinterpreted what I said.
By ‘nation-state of Israel,’ I mean the current political entity with the Knesset; I don’t personally believe that’s the same thing as Biblical Israel.
In Romans 11, Paul makes it very clear that the promise of grace to Israel has been expanded to include the Gentiles; therefore the promises to Israel are also the promises to the Church because the Christian Church IS Israel, because it is the same tree with Gentiles grafted in as the branches.
It’s not “replacement theology,” as you put it. It’s expansion and waiting for the complete fulfillment when the bloodline of Abraham is grafted back into the Abrahamic Covenant.
Nah.
It’s not at all the same thing, considering that you reject the words of the Word of God Incarnate in regards to both law and grace.
If you’re saying that after the Church is out of here, Christ Jesus will head up a future Kingdom of Israel as head of all the nations on earth, then I very much misunderstood you, Luircin. I apologize sincerely. I’m very sorry.
You always have something interesting to add, that’s for sure, Del. I would love to tie it into the rapture ...
However, I see a problem. If the Church was a mystery that was hidden from the foundation of the world and first revealed only to the apostle Paul by none other than our Lord God, then how can we find it in your post of events from the gospel accounts?
“By ‘nation-state of Israel,’ I mean the current political entity with the Knesset; I don’t personally believe that’s the same thing as Biblical Israel.”
Agreed. It will be a monarchy once again.
For that part, I’m saying I don’t know. I know God keeps his promises, but as has been shown before, the manner in which God does so is typically unexpected.
One of the surest ways to be proven wrong is to assume you know all the details of God’s future plans after all.
There is a scroll known as the Melchizadekian Scroll which is astonishing and proven to be dating to 200 BC. I have a video link you might find interesting which details many of the prophecies the Essenes gave hundreds of years before Messiah was born, if you would like to watch it. They prophesied the year He would begin His ministry, the year He would be cut off, and the year the temple would be destroyed and the dispersion of Israel into the nations, all matching via the Essene calendar the actual dates in the Gregorian calendar system.
The following video is most instructive. Start at minute 11:37 and follow along, and if you wonder who Ken Johnson is, Josh has him give a short vita at the beginning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOf-u6IdQYM
Be sure to watch through 15:12, for the really shocking revelation.
