The ordinances described in Colossians 2 are CEREMONIAL LAW.
So, how do I know that Paul is describing the CEREMONIAL law? Paul CLEARLY states that the ordinances were a shadow of things to come (v 17). How about v 16? Is Paul describing Ceremonial or Moral law here? It is most certainly CEREMONIAL. God’s 10 commandment law AND the law of unclean beasts/birds/fish have NOTHING to do with shadows. The Ceremonial law certainly does.
All you have to do is compare with Ezekiel 45:17.

Note below the perfect parallel between Colossians 2:16 and Ezekiel 45:17 and that this was a sin offering, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel for breaking God’s Moral law (Ten Commandments) as prescribed by the ceremonial law until such time that Jesus nailed this law to the cross. This is what Israel had to do to make atonement for sin, which is the breaking of the Ten Commandments which of course includes the fourth Commandment, the Seventh Day Sabbath. It clearly demonstrates the issue and leaves no doubt as to what Paul was explaining to the Colossians. Note Strong’s dictionary definition for holyday in Colossians 2:16 and that festivals, feasts and holydays are synonymous. Parentheses are added.

God’s 10 commandment moral law will stand forever. It is perfect and perpetual. Matthew 5: 17-19. And, if you still claim that Paul is describing both Moral and Ceremonial being done away with (nailed to the Cross), THEN WHY IS COMMANDMENT KEEPING MENTIONED OVER AND OVER AGAIN ALL THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT? Jesus says it Himself in Matthew 5:17-19…18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. I have given you multiple texts where Jesus Christ specifically says KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS. The saints in Revelation that go to heaven are COMMANDMENT KEEPERS.
God’s 10 commandment, moral law was placed in the ark of the covenant, directly under the mercy seat. The handwriting of ordinances, “this book of the law” was put in the SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT, “as a witness against thee”
Deu 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee.
The original ARK OF THE COVENANT is literally in heaven. It literally contains the law of God, that we all will be judged by.
Revelation 11:
18And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Law breakers, and those who advocate breaking the law (not keeping it), will not be in heaven. The bible is very clear on that. God’s people throughout the history of the world are they that hear his voice and obey. You say that Christ was talking to the Jews only? Certainly not. Your post is nonsensical. Paul is telling us in Colossians 2 that the CEREMONIAL LAW (ordinances) no longer applies and he is using Ez 45:17 as an example to make sure everyone understands what he’s talking about. Everyone already knows that the “house of Israel” kept the CEREMONIAL LAW. I guess it was only a newsflash to you.
