Yes, some browsers are touchy. They show fine for me in Firefox—I find that Edge, Chrome and Brave sometimes omit works as you describe, which is why I recommend Firefox.
My computer is too old to support the latest version of Firefox. Perhaps that’s why I can’t see those two.
