I do not know why, but I am very drawn to the GIOVANNI FRANCESCO ROMANELLI. The color is very bold. The composition is very clean. The artist is a master at his craft.
I like it, too, but their gowns seem unrealistically Eurocentric for bathing Egyptians. It is at the very edge of what I would post—I omitted several works with blonde ladies in billowing silk ballgowns.
