I agree with you with one small correction. It is not following the Bible rather it is believing and trusting the actual words of the Bible. That is the narrow path Jesus spoke about. The catholics, nice as they are, are trusting in their participation in ritual while the reformed are trusting in the theologians ideas of what the church really is. St. Paul told the Philippian jailer step by step how to be saved. One would think that would end the matter but that is not the case.
There are a ton of people in history that have preached the Gospel and led many to Christ, have massive amounts of Scripture memorized and live godly lives but do not fully trust every word of the Bible.
