(1) Not all of those organizations are Sola Scriptura denominations.
(2) How are these alike?
Catholics = Bible PLUS the Vatican
Mormons = Bible PLUS Joseph Smith
Jehovah’s Witnesses = Bible PLUS the Watchtower
Muslims = Bible PLUS Koran-ahamed
(3) Sola Scriptura Christians recognize each other as brothers and sisters in Christ, e.g. Biblical Presbyterians, Baptists and Methodists, etc. I certainly do.
(4) The Eastern Orthodox would disagree that Rome is the “true” church.
(5) If you accept Vatican 2, you think your church is alive. If you reject Vatican 2, you admit your church is dead.
(6) You may there is no salvation outside the “Holy Mother Church”, yet you may also say there is no assurance of salvation WITHIN your church.
[[(6) You may there is no salvation outside the “Holy Mother Church”,]]
The their on the cross, and all the saved people,in the old testament disagree. There is salvation wherever one is, regardless of what church they belong to,or,don’t belong to, as long as they give their heart to Christ and “repent” ie allow christ to save them instesd,instead, tryingmto attain salvation themsleves. Repent means to “change one’s mind and submit to how the lord says one must be saved”
Correctly stated. Thanks.
