Stupor Tuesday, October 19 in the early morning , when the nuns of the congregation of the Christian Union in Poitiers found on the door of the chapel of the private school that they hold, the poster bearing the following mention: "The institutions like the Christian Union of Poitiers are swelling the ranks of the far right: BURNS THE FACTORY IN FACHO (sic) ”. Private under contract with the State, the establishment under the supervision of the congregation has 1,000 pupils from kindergarten to high school, spread over several sites. Located on the outskirts of Poitiers cathedral , the targeted site brings together the girls' college and the mixed high school.
The establishment accused of "sexism" and "homophobia"
“When we arrived at 8 am, the pupils told us that similar posters had been put up all over Poitiers. This violence is very shocking, especially when it is aimed at a place that shelters young people ”, alarmed the Christian Family, Sister Marie-Vianney Rassegand, Superior of the Congregation. “It is very worrying for students to know that their school is threatened with being set on fire! " . On the poster, the superior explains that several accusations were made explicitly against this establishment run by nuns considered "sexist", " homophobic " and "transphobic".
