In #16 Gerard Seghers painted so well the exhaustion, pain and extreme sadness in the eyes of Christ.
Gerrit van Honthorst, #26, was influenced by Cravaggio and others while staying in Italy. He was well known for his use of candle lighting or, in this painting, a torch for a beautiful chiaroscuro.
