Sounds like your God is mean and spiteful, filled with rage and revenge.
My God loves us and would never create us only to then subject us to “...spend eternity in hell, a place exceedingly unpleasant, terrifying and painful, eternally separated from the presence of God.”
If you have truly turned your life over to Jesus and are born again, then you will not believe in other gods. If you believe this is true then you cannot be truly born again. Only room for 1 God in our hearts.
These folks should read through the books of the prophets - they condemn the Israelites over and over for worshiping false gods along with the real one.
Code Toad, my God is the only true God, the God of the Bible. Please read it, and while doing so, please ask Him to reveal to you His plan for your salvation and redemption. Jesus Christ died for your sins, and mine. Through Christ, you may be forgiven of all and everything you have ever done which offends God.
If you want a suggestion, begin your reading of the Bible with the Book of John, the fourth book in the New Testament.
My God tells us that those who do not accept Jesus as their savior will spend eternity in hell, forever separated from the presence of God. Choose wisely. Eternity is longer than we can imagine. God bless you and your family.

Those Christians who are not born again, who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, are not Christians. It is that simple.

Congratulations on your longevity. I’m 71. Accepted Jesus Christ as my savior at 50. Have lots of testimonies about Jesus. Salvation offered by the grace and mercy of Christ is a joyful topic. I confessed Jesus as my Lord and Saviour at age 22 fifty years ago. I am on the board of a Christian college, a church corporate board, and the board of Christian martial arts society. Beyond that, it’s not really any of your business, since you don’t know me nor I you.
You made it my business when you interjected yourself into my conversational perspective. We are called by Christ to be humble and joyful, full of his mercy and grace. We are also commanded by Christ to go forth and share His message of salvation through His grace and mercy,to all who will listen. He does not need us to be part of His process of deliverance into salvation, though He allows us to do so, as a privilege.
Each of us is a perishing man or woman, as our life on earth is marked with a definite beginning and a definite end. Yet our soul will continue onward, either into heaven to live in the joyful presence of God... or into hell, a painful, horrible destination, away from the presence of God forever. My mission is to encourage those who have yet to accept Christ as their savior to do so. Most will reject this free, amazing offer of grace and eternal salvation, an eternal mistake. Some will say ,”Yes!” and be saved, literally born again forever.
God loves each of us. Let us do what we can to share His Word and love with others.
Born again, Code Toad, is where you are encouraged to be, also. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.” John 3:16+17.
In John 3:3, Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
I encourage you to talk with Jesus, repent of your sins, and ask Christ for forgiveness. Accept Jesus as your savior. He always says Yes to anyone who does this sincerely. Do not remain lost for eternity. God bless you.

God got my birth right in the first place. I refuse to believe that children are born into sin like the Born Agains do.

Your refusal and incorrect thinking have eternal consequences, CodeToad. Set your ego aside. Read the Bible, especially the New Testament. God loves you so much, CodeToad, that He sent His only Son to die a painful, horrible death on the cross, specifically paying the price for your sins, for the sins of CodeToad, so that you may be eternally forgiven, and upon your physical death may truly live in heaven with God, instead of hell. Hell is real, and it is your eternal destination, unless you become born again, having accepted Jesus as your savior.
