You've missed the entire point of the article completely.

The Bible has become powerlesd in society where it once was the rule... and we can see it trending toward meaninglessness because of the attitudes born out of the historical appeasement untoward a secular hijacking that is occurring today.

This not a religious debate - rather the hope to recognize what has happened to the place of Scripture in our world and what we can do about it. I gather from the comments no one sees this as an issue in 2021 and are quite content to surrender the Scripture to the political conditioners who will rule us.
