Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Chockmah...Here is Wisdom, Listen to it.
Hold Fast To The Word Of The LORD, and All of His Precepts.
Chayah...In His Word You Will Find LIFE,
Here Your Will Find the Answer to All Your Questions.
Chesed...His Mercies Never Come To An End,
His Hands Are Full Of Abundance For You Every Morning.
Chen...The Grace and Lovingkindness Of Our Father is Everlasting,
He is Our Portion, Our Strength and Our Song.
Hasten, and Do Not Delay To Obey Him, For in His Love, Our
Hearts are Secure.

Let All That Has Been Concealed,
Be Revealed.

LORD, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.

We Pray For Our Beloved USA
We Ask That Your People Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

I have the tiniest of a yard, taken up mostly by my driveway and a long deck that extends the length of my mobile home. A giant oak tree dominates the property, and the people who abut my yard are , well shall we say, NOT meticulous about the appearance of their home. I would say that I have approximately 200 sq. ft. of garden.

Now, according to geologists, New England's arable land was once covered by glaciers. These glaciers deposited rocks. The Pilgrims discovered that tilling the land brought these rocks to the surface in a never-ending stream, producing a new crop of rocks every year. When I first started my little garden, I produced so many rocks that I was able to build a typical New England Stone Wall in front, as well as rimming all the flower beds with rocks that were large enough to be atrractive, but light enough to move into place. Then I planted my flowers. Using mostly perennial herbs, my garden has flourished in the five years I have lived here, and I use the herbs in cooking and various other uses. I also get a fine new crop of ROCKS every year, which get added to the wall.

It's too hot to work in the Garden right now, but it keeps on growing without me, until the weather is more condusive to "puttering" again.

Today's Psalm 119 Stanza is "Chet~Heth", the Eighth Letter of the Hebrew Alphabet.

"Chet" is a Guttural Sound, like the "ch" in "Bach", and is the First Letter in These Wonderful Hebrew Words:

Chayim=Life
Chen=Grace
Chockmah=Wisdom
Chayah=Living
Chesed=Mercy

It is the EIGHTH Letter of the Alphabet, and Its Original Pictograph was a Courtyard, or GARDEN!

Eight is a Special Number in The Bible:

Eight People Saved in Noah's Ark
Eight Times God's Covenant With Abraham Confirmed
Sons To Be Circumcised on their Eighth Day of Life
Eight Days in the Feast of Sukkot
David was the Eighth Son of Jesse
Eight Days of Chanukah

The Cave of Machpelah in Hebron was Purchased by Abraham from the Sons of HETH. In this case, the letter symbolized the OPPOSITE of Life, Yet The Names Of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob LIVE on.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.

Hallelujah and Amen
