If you were an actual Christian, then you would have access to a formidable promise to assuage your frustration, found in Romans 8:28:
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

It will make the patent much stronger and more defensible, and an expanded single patent will be cheaper than two independent smaller patents.
Glad you’re making progress, even if it’s a more involved undertaking than you anticipated.

Morris shows how many more people God raised up to aid this man. Seems like the Priest and Levite missed out on a nice blessing through their selfishness and cowardice. There's a lesson there. Reminds me of my first pastor's reply when I asked, as a new Christian, "Should I tithe based on my gross income or my take-home?" He just said, "How much do you want to be blessed?"

Having gone through the pictures on both threads, I’m struck by how helpless the man is. He is supine and unconscious. If had had not been helped, he would have died on the road.
Then I thought, “Ah! This is us. God is the good Samaritan. We have been His enemy all our lives. While we were knocked out and helpless by the enemy, He helped us move from death to life. He paid whatever it cost to help and heal us and promised as much as it would take until we’re well and alive.”
Nailed it. The possibility that this was an actual event does nothing to negate the symbolism Jesus intended: we are God’s neighbors. Notice that in the story the savior moves on and promises to return....
