Mary-Lou! No need to inquire whether you have been mindful of the Lord's teaching, or how things are between you and the IRS. Anyway, you can always head down to the harbor and drop a hook in the water--although these days, it would take quite a coin!

Jesus had promised to make Peter a fisher of men, and Peter's fishing had employed nets, not hooks. But Pete just needed one fish now, so Jesus mandated the proper tool. This same Peter later mandated to us how we should catch our men, in 1 Peter 3:15.
