Id argue that aborting them suppresses them by a factor of at least a millon, and yet Ireland legalized that.

Yes it suppressed their freedoms in life.

What does she want them to be free to do?

Because no one ever left the Church, or became a cafeteria Catholic.

She may have today’s Catholicism confused with the harsher forms of Islam. If you abjure the faith, the penalty is death.

But she was okay with Muslims immigrating to Ireland.

Ireland was once a proud and decent nation. But thanks to the European Union it’s now just another filthy little European cesspool.

“She indicated the Church needs to find an alternative to the christening contract and instead offer its members an opportunity for expressing a voluntary commitment to these obligations when they are mature enough to do so.”

That would be Confirmation.

She has chosen the gay lifestyle of her son over God, as is her choice.

It seems to me:
Anyone who does not believe what the Church teaches is free to leave (these days.) The Church won’t come after you to enforce the alleged “contract.”

If you think God will come after you, then you would do well to avail yourself of every means to conform to His will. And Baptism which is taught not only as a providing a clean state but also a new interior birth of the self revivified by the Holy Ghost is claimed to be a great conduit of gifts.

If you believe the claims, you see Baptism as a help not a burden. If you disbelieve them, what burden is placed on you?

I don’t think her complaint makes sense.

I am sure she has all kinds of creative notions about how other people should raise their children, none of which are any of her business.

I have read other places about her problems with the Catholic Church, not on minor issues either, but on fundamental teachings and practices. Why doesn’t she just leave? No, she stays and expects the church to change to suit her. That’s hubris in spades.

I wonder what does she has to say about St. John the Baptist's baptism of Jesus?

Who WOULDN'T want to be baptized into the Lord's family?

.

.

Satan's followers wouldn't want it.
