Well, White folks who point out the root causes of so much of the rot in ‘black culture’ are just White Supremest, racist, crackers. So, they keep quiet.

Funny thing is, tithing is the ONLY OT practice that churches are downright legalistic about.

Paul says that we are to care for our own first. If a man does not provide for his family he is worse than an infidel. That way, by caring for our own, it frees up the church to minister to those who really are in need. It takes a huge burden off the church body.

A pastor I know related that a woman in his congregation approached him about the church helping a friend with rent. He knew she could manage it herself and he asked her why she didn’t do it herself.

She was shocked at the thought.

More than willing to use the church’s money but not her own.

The black church has failed the black race miserably. They have done so by embracing the very people who wish to keep them in bondage because they have failed to recognize false teachers. Instead, they have joined those false teachers.
Next week in Nashville, a group of black pastors plan to demand the Southern Baptist Convention adopt “critical race theory” as part of it’s teachings. They are threatening to create a schism in the group if it doesn’t. According to a story in the AP, this would be “progress”. Marx was the ultimate false teacher, an atheist and a virulent racist, yet the black church has embraced him.

It seems kinda racist to blame and expect white people to fix black people’s lives for them.

First: Fix the family!!!

Teach “Honor thy father and thy mother” and self-control, instead of honoring idols and blaming others for the self-caused consequences of NOT following God’s laws and His Wisdom.

Repent Rev. Jakes and do your job(!) and live up to your calling(!!) ... or there will be Hell to pay. Read it for yourself.

First I ‘feel’ Jesus would let me win the 500 Mil lotto.

Really, I believe (not ‘feel’) that Jesus wants me to interact with and love the individuals I meet during my daily life.

And each one gets different response from me, hopefully as Jesus would. A kind word, an offer to help, money, a listening ear, a scripture - The Word of God.
