That brings up an interesting point. The Holy Spirit (third person of the Trinity and God, Himself) indwells every believer. Is this not more important than being the "womb bearer"?
The Holy spirit who IS God, is more important Mary, of course.
Now the Holy Spirit in dwelling in every believer is possible because Mary was the God bearer.
The key word is God in God-bearer. It emphasises completely that Jesus was God in the womb. It emphasises that Jesus was not conferred good at birth or baptism as the Adoptionists would believe.
Hmmmmm....you changed terms on me ("womb bearer" to "God bearer"). I suspect womb bearer was an oversight as God bearer is the correct Catholic term.
Any believer would agree that Mary's role in bring Christ into human form was a unique priveledge. But would you rate the miracle of the Virgin Birth against the parting of the Red Sea by Moses or Elijah raising the woman's dead son? What is the ratings of miracles?
Who are we to judge the miracles of God? He performs each miracle to accomplish a specific purpose as it pleases Him.
Exactly!
