Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Bless the LORD,
Oh My Soul,
And let All That is Within Me Bless His Most Holy Name!
Abba Father,
Blessed Are You,
Oh LORD,
Our God!
King of the Universe,
Ancient of Days,
Rock of All Ages!
It is You, and You Alone,
Who Created All Things,
And You Alone Who Knows The End from The Beginning,
And the Beginning from The End.

Let All That Has Been Concealed,
Be Revealed.

LORD, We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According To Your Will and Promise.
We Beseech You on Behalf of Our Captive Brethren,
Christians and Jews,
In Bondage in Hostile lands.

We Pray For Our Beloved USA
We Ask That Your People Receive Wisdom from You
To do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

My little church was rejoicing because 24 Children showed up for the Easter Program. In the 50 years of the church's existence, the Congregation had grown older, and the Children's programs had diminished greatly. Now, with a new pastor, new music, relaxation of COVID restrictions, and the wonderful leadership of Miss Linda, the Children's Church is blossoming again. It is so exciting! As for the youths, they are serving in the Audio-Visual department, doing sound for outdoor services and concerts under the tent. The kids are the future of the church, and King David knew that too.

Now, King David was an amazing Warrior, an Anointed Songwriter, and an excellent king, but he was not a very good husband and father. He took wives as trophies, or for political reasons, and dropped them just as fast. His household was full of half-brothers and half-sisters, resulting in feuds, rape, murder, and even the usurpation of the throne. And yet, even when the most rebellious son Absalom was killed, David wept bitterly in mourning. In spite of all his "family issues", David loved his kids.

Today's Psalm is a prayer for Solomon, son of Bathsheba. David pours out a blessing upon his son who was by no means his first-born. And yet, David must have known that the future lay in this particular son.

As parents, teachers, musicians, grandparents, aunties, and uncles, we must always be aware that the future is in the children. They, in turn, will grow up and be responsible for their own. Not only must we pray for them, but we must do everything we can to welcome them into the Community of Faith.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

"He was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification." (Romans 4:25)

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
