They are all beautiful, hard to have a favorite. The detail of Botticelli Temptation of Christ (#17) shows the devil disguised as a hermit. Look though at his feet.

#1, excellent portrait of the Christ. Haunting expression. There is another version, without the devil. No attribution although the Christ is the same as in the other painting.

For me, Kramskoy's #4 caught the strain of the ordeal on Jesus' face. I want the artist to zoom in to emphasize that, but he cannot, for he must present the Christ's solitude--we cannot help Him here.
