Thank you! Here is one of the most beautiful sculptures of Mother and Child, Notre Dame de Grasse, Toulouse, 15th c. Unusual to have Mary look one way and Jesus the other. Scholars now think they were part of a group of sculptures.
As you know, I could post literally thousands of Madonna-and-Child images. But I decided against it, preferring instead to stick to illustrating specific texts. So, I will leave it to you and everyone to post your favorites. Have at it!
