FATHER GOD,

Praise the Name of GOD – the Fountain from where love flows. Thank You for Your only Son JESUS CHRIST Who showed us how to love and laid down His life as a ransom for our sins so we would not perish. LORD, teach us to love through the power of Your WORD and the indwelling of HOLY SPIRIT:

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from GOD. Anyone who loves is a child of GOD and knows GOD. But anyone who does not love does not know GOD, for GOD is LOVE. ~ 1 John 4:7-8

This is real love—not that we loved GOD, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. ~ 1 John 4:10

If someone says, “I love GOD,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we do not love people we can see, how can we love GOD, Whom we cannot see? And He has given us this command: Those who love GOD must also love their fellow believers. ~ 1 John 4:20-21

And FATHER GOD, the most difficult command is for us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.

“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your FATHER in heaven. For He gives His sunlight to both the evil and the good, and He sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.

If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. ~ Matthew 5:43-48

FATHER GOD, only through the renewing of our minds through the transforming power of HOLY SPIRIT can we show that kind of love. Teach us to hate the sin but love the sinner. Help us love unconditionally that we can truly show that JESUS is LORD of our lives.

“May the GOD of endurance and encouragement grant us to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with CHRIST JESUS, that together we may with one voice glorify You, the FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.”

May we be one as GOD the FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRT are ONE so that we may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that GOD sent JESUS CHRIST to be the SAVIOR of the world.
